Dr. Lenore A. Tate is a licensed psychologist, geropsychologist, and health policy expert with over 30 years of experience advancing behavioral health and health equity in California. As the founder and Executive Director of Wraparound Enterprises, she leads a community-based organization dedicated to improving behavioral health outcomes for Black youth, older Black adults, and other marginalized communities through culturally responsive education, outreach, and policy advocacy.
Dr. Tate brings a rare combination of clinical expertise and high-level policy experience. She has served as a health policy consultant to the California State Assembly and California State Senate Health Committees, as well as the Senate Office of Research, where she worked on critical issues related to healthcare access, behavioral health, and system reform. She has also advocated at the state level as Director of Governmental Affairs for Pfizer Inc. and the California Primary Care Association, advancing policies that impact underserved communities.
Dr. Tate continues to play a leadership role in aging policy and systems change as a member of the California Commission on Aging and an advisory board member for Area Agency on Aging 4.
